Natural Perfume

We all like to smell nice. Smelling good will make you feel clean and fresh and can help you feel confident. However, there’s a big difference between dousing yourself with an overpowering aroma and subtly creating your own signature scent which you love and others comment on. Here are a few tips on where and how to apply your favourite natural perfume to help you smell good and feel lovely throughout the day.

Apply fragrance to moisturised skin

A scent will fade faster when skin is dry, so ensure you moisturise your body in particular areas where you plan to spray or roll on your perfume to encourage a longer lasting scent.

Apply to your pulse points

These points on your body are known to emanate heat which can help fragrance to continue to flow and arise from your skin throughout the day. Pulse points can be found on the inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind ear lobes, in the cleavage, behind knees, and the inner elbows.

Apply perfume to your hair

I wouldn’t want to apply any old fragrance to my hair as chemicals or alcohol in some perfumes could damage or dry it out. Natural perfume would be fine to spritz the mid lengths to the ends. Resulting in you and others receiving a gentle scent as you move throughout the day. Some people prefer to spray perfume onto their hair brush and then brush their hair to apply the scent less directly.

Scented Soap Wardrobe Sachets

This is an easy way to ensure your clothes always smell lovely. Choose your favorite scented natural soap and grate it. Fill a sachet with the soap and place it in your wardrobe or drawers. Your clothes will have a lovely fresh and clean smell and this is safer than spraying your clothes directly with fragrance

Don't forget your breath

Practice good oral hygiene such as brushing your teeth and flossing twice daily. Other things such as tongue cleaning and using mouthwash can also help to prevent bad breath. Try to avoid eating foods which can contribute to bad breath such as garlic and milk. Drinking plenty of water  will help you to avoid dry mouth and bad breath. Drinking after eating will help clear particles and odour causing bacteria from your mouth also.
