Today we are celebrating Love Your Health’s 5th birthday! And we thought, what better way to celebrate than sharing our current favourites with you all.

Aidan (LYH Founder) Loves...

Having experienced stress and anxiety over the last 2 years I am always on the look out for products that can help me with this. For me there is nothing better than a good sweat. I always feel so rejuvenated when I get out of the Infrared Sauna having listened to my favourite podcast. It has also helped me recently when I felt the early symptoms of getting ill, having sat inside for an hour at 60 degrees I found I felt better and it helped boost my immune system as the symptoms didn't return.

I consume most of the medicinal mushrooms but I especially love Lions Mane because it helps me focus and feel it's helpful for those wisps of brain fog. I've been using this Ashwagandha Root Powder for awhile now and it's perfect for nervous system support. Using a facial roller has a heap of benefits from decreasing puffiness to improving blood circulation to soothing the skin and bringing a natural glow to your complexion. It’s also a very relaxing practice for me and is now a part of my self-care and beauty ritual. I just love the whole range of Loving Earth chocolates but the Salted Caramel flavour would hands down have to be one of my faves! This chocolate is a combo of cacao butter from Peru with cashews and coconut nectar. All ingredients are organic and fair trade. I also admire Loving Earth as a company because they are very environmentally focused and I just love what their philosophy is based on: that the Earth is a living organism.

I really adore the whole Antipodes skincare range and I have been incorporating some of the products into my daily skincare regime for a few months now. The whole range is divine from oils to face serums to lipsticks, and I've even got my Mum and Sister using the products too. My favourite product would probably have to be the Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream as it's a super soothing treatment for the delicate eye area. I’ve recently been listening to the podcast ‘On Purpose with Jay Shetty’ after reading Jay Shetty’s book, and I have found the conversations he has with some of the most fascinating and influential people in the world has been super insightful. I really appreciate the topics and the content, and I always have something to walk away with after listening to each episode.

By now if you have read some of my blogs, you'd know how matcha obsessed I am that I even wrote a blog about everything Matcha which you can read here. I’ve been having a Matcha latte every morning, not just because of the taste but because of the loaded health benefits just one cup of Matcha can have. Matcha Maiden is one of the first Matcha powders I purchased and is easily one of my favourites. It is an authentic Japanese powder made by stone grounding pure green tea leaves that is free of nasties and has a beautiful rich flavour. My favourite feature of this matcha powder is just how versatile it is, as you can add it your desserts, smoothies, salad dressings and even your skin care!

Gevity Rx Bone Broth Sauce Better Belly BBQ
I have been on the hunt for healthy sauce alternatives. The Better Belly BBQ sauce is so delicious and my favourite part is that it is only sweetened with natural pomegranate and monk fruit. I love to use it on anything and EVERYTHING savoury.

The Fresh Chai Co. Original Blend Honey Soaked Chai
I am obsessed with this Honey Soaked Chai blend by The Fresh Chai Co. As my studies continue, I've read up on caffeine and the impacts it has on the body and I have become determined to cut down my caffeine intake. I now enjoy a cuppa or two of this every day. I'm not missing black tea and coffee anymore and now really look forward to sipping my soothing chai latte instead. I love the spices with sweetness of honey in this blend and it contains much less caffeine than regular tea and coffee. Warning however, its soo good I'm now slightly addicted!


Kiva Wellness 2 Person Far-Infrared Sauna
I can't fail to mention my Kiva Wellness Infrared sauna. I assembled it easily with my friend and wondered how often I'd use it in Summer. It has changed my life. If I wake up early but it's too wet to go for a run I nip into my sauna for 20 mins and it rejuvenates me. The children know 'Mummy is in her sauna' and they leave me to enjoy some time to myself. I connect via bluetooth to the sauna speakers, choose the lighting mood and either read a book whilst listening to music or listen to a podcast. I think its an excellent way to start or end the day taking time for yourself free from distractions like deadlines or the news. I feel like it helps me to focus and encourages me to remain hydrated throughout the day. 

Oil Garden Love & Friendship Pure Essential Oil Blend
I switch on my diffuser and add a few drops of my favourite essential oil to it most days. My current fave is this Oil Garden Love and Friendship blend, as it feels energizing, fresh and clean, and a nice way to start the day or finish the day after dinner is cleared away and its time to wind down.

Organic Times Chocolate Little Gems 
Love love love these! Supermarkets don't tend to stock many options for cake and cookie decorating for coeliacs. These cute milk Organic Times chocolate buttons are covered in crisp, fruity shells and are also organic. A fun little treat for the girls when we're baking or enjoying ice cream.

Hart & Soul Coconut Bengali Dahl
After the recent NSW floods, we were running low on fresh foods, so I had to use ingredients wisely for a week or so and found a love for Hart & Souls instant soups to keep me going throughout the day like the Hart & Soul Dahl. They are handy to have in the cupboard for quick ready meals, they taste authentic and fresh, and so I'll always have some handy now.

Green Nutritionals Vegan Calcium & Vitamin C Capsules
As a nursing mum I need to make sure that I also look after myself, so when I came across Green Nutritionals I was amazed and felt great taking them and knowing that they are derived from 100% certified organically grown ingredients.

Byron Bay Chilli Green Jalapeno Sauce
I love Mexican dishes but I am not so fond of spicy food (although I do enjoy eating food with a little bit of spice every now and then). So when I tried this product I absolutely loved it. Boy oh boy do I love some gut lovin goodness, and I cannot go past the Beef Bone Broth by Nutra Organics. It makes its way into almost all of my cooking, and for good reason. It has an extra hit of collagen which really helps with my gut health.
